About Us

My name is Emma Massie, I developed Grounded Peaks LLC to advocate and facilitate mindfulness activities for children and adolescents.

Children are experiencing higher stress levels than ever before. When children are stressed, this impacts their learning ability, brain development, and emotional and physical well-being. The goal of Grounded Peaks is to equip children with a suite of mindfulness techniques (breath-work, mindful movement (yoga), and meditation activities) to help them reduce stress and self-regulate emotions to navigate life’s challenges and to reach peak potential. A few benefits of meditation for children are below:

• Reduced stress and anxiety (bullying/exams)

• Reduced physical and mental tension

• Increased focus and concentration to support academic performance (Including

children with ADHD and children on the spectrum)

• Improved Sleep

• Increased emotional intelligence

• Improved self-esteem

• Improved ability to cope with change
